A uniquely complex tartan. This is the closest to the Innes recorded in the Lord Lyon Public Register of all Arms and Bearings In Scotland. No 38/88 on 30th August 1951. As recorded, the Innes (#361) has seven colours. However, most weavers follow the standard six-colour scheme and thus use black where the recorded tartan has azure.
Clan Innes is an armigerous clan, having no chief, and is centered in the district of Moray.
