The Quaich (usually pronounced "quake") is the traditional Scottish "cup of welcome". A small drinking bowl designed to hold whisky, quaichs bear two handles or "lugs". One is held by the person offering the cup, the other by the person receiving the drink which symbolizes hospitality and friendship. Ours are all made in the UK from 100% pewter and are ideal wedding gifts or house warming gifts.
